It’s all right there in your eyes

The carnival was rolling into town.  My husband his two nieces and I went to spend the day enjoying the rides and playing games. While waiting for the girls to get off one of the rides that’s when our eyes met.  He was standing there without a shirt, his body muscular and tan.  His eyes deep blue, shoulder length brown wavy hair.  I couldn’t bring myself to look away.  He was running the ride my husband’s nieces were on.

When the ride came to a stop he said “How about you princess, wanna take a spin?”  I’d really rather not, I told him. “Come on girls we have to go now,” and started to walk away.  That’s when he called my name.  “Colleen…darlin, I’m talking to you!”

“I found this on the ground.”  It was my wallet.  Thank you, I said as I went to grab my wallet from him.  He pulls back and says “how do I know who you are princess and who is this good looking devil, is this your husband?” I smiled and asked, “can I have my wallet back please?”  “Sure thing princess anything you say!”  That’s when my husband came up and the sexy carnival guy looked at us both and said “I wish you all the best.”  We walked away.  Glancing back I found he was still staring at me. The instant connection was undeniable.

My husband was leaving for a business trip that very same night.  I was feeling very restless and I couldn’t get that guy out of my head.  I went back up to the carnival where I knew I would find him.  I was standing by the entrance gate when he saw me, he came over and asked “do you remember me?” “I’m the guy that returned your wallet!”  I didn’t reply.  “Aren’t you going to talk to me?”  He goes on to say “I’m hoping that, just maybe, you’re out here looking for me.”  “Are you?”  I just smiled and said “I can’t sleep.”  He came closer to me and said “Well I’ll be saying good night than.”  Everything I wanted to say to him I did with my eyes.  He knew I wanted him.

The next morning I heard a knock at my door.  It was him, he says “It’s a beautiful day isn’t it?”  Pushing his way in he continues…”Sorry I had to come to your house like this but since I’m only going to be in town for another day or so it doesn’t leave us much time and I knew you wouldn’t mind.”  You’re the cockiest son of a bitch I’ve ever met, I said with disgust.  “No, in my defense I just like beautiful things and a woman like you only comes around once in a lifetime.”  Bullshit, I snapped back.  I swear, he whispered as he pulled my body to his.  “Lets sit on the couch and get to know one another.”  I could not unlock my eyes from his.  “How about a little smile, princess?”  “What’s the matter, you don’t feel like smiling?”  “I can understand that but Colleen, darlin, I didn’t just show up here by mistake, you invited me.”  “You might not know it but you did.”

“It’s all right there in your eyes.”  He was right and it was electric. He excited me so much I couldn’t control myself.  I gave into my desire for him.  As he was leaving, all he said was “the lady’s got a secret, dontcha?”  I smiled devilishly.  I never did know his name.
